Elliott (Eli) Bangs was born and raised up in Seattle, Washington, and has always made his home in the Puget Sound region – a humid, dimly-lit land of forests, islands and concrete, where it is Autumn ten months out of the year. He has many skills, but no specialties. He has many thoughts, but knows nothing. He writes fiction and rides his bike. More than this, little is known.

It was a pleasure to meet you in Eugene and hear about your adventure. I have your website on my “favorites” list and will be sharing it with my grandaughters in hopes they too will seek adventure some day.
May the orbs be with you!

Thanks Bonnie! It was great to meet you also – I’m glad our visits to that house overlapped. I’ll do my best to ride safe.
You must share the tale of that previous adventure, once Seattle has sweated from your veins sufficiently enough to write comedy. The expression on your face is the best part. I’m still laughing, and there is a lamentable lack of good B movie scripts which needs to be filled posthaste.
Hey Eli,
it was great to meet you back in September, just a few days into your journey (and a mere 2 or 3 weeks into mine), just north of Portland. Thanks for your email. I’ve added a link to your blog on my own – entry for the day we met and my links page
You’ve certainly gotten well ahead of me. Enjoy the sunshine and warmth of mexico! I’ll be headed into baja after the new year.
hmmm, html coding doesn’t seem to have worked in the above post. Those links to your blog are at http://www.crazyguyonabike.com/doc/page/?o=1&page_id=246925&v=JG and http://www.crazyguyonabike.com/doc/page/?o=1&page_id=260799&v=EP
